Together with the pay the artist now! working group, consisting of representatives of the IG Bildende Kunst and the Künstler:innen Vereinigung Tirol, the third stop of the Austria-wide information tour “pay the artist now!” will take place in Graz, on Wednesday, 03.04.2024 a panel discussion and on Thursday, 04.04.2024 a workshop will by hosted in < rotor >.

The aim of the tour is to provide information on the current status of the “Fair Pay” process and to gather experiences and voices from the scene on the topic of “Fair Pay” in the visual arts in order to evaluate and further develop the ongoing process. Each venue will host an individually designed, public evening event and a workshop the following day with invited participants from the independent art scene, colleagues from local institutions, organizations and representatives of local funding bodies. The focus is on bringing the initiative "pay the artist now!" into the realm of discussion and anchoring the topics of Fair Pay and fair working conditions as fundamental in the visual arts.
